| {For the record, the only pony's with the cults sign are the Shadow Blots. While you don't see any of the workers who where fighting against them in the casualties you don't know if there bodies where removed or if the Shadow Blots where just crushed without being able to take down a single one of the mysteries workers.}
As you look up at the Princess you see her take wing, flying down to where her personal student is questioning one of the medical ponies.
Before you can go to talk to her thou, you feel a tap on your side. Turning you see Flame Tempest. She looks about as bad as everypony else. One of her wings has been splinted and she is hobbling, but when you turn and she sees that it is really you and that you are alive and uninjured, her face bakes out into a relived grin. Stepping up she hugs you tightly.
"Oh thank Celestia, I thought you where dead!" You can hear her voice brake as her grip tightens with desperate strength. "The whole factory explored right after you ran in there! What happened? Was that actually... her?"

"you can stay with me and May{Merry Hearts' nickname} as long as you need to." Zack leaned in to her ear "I've always known about your feelings for me." Tempest's eyes shrank to pinpricks "come on I got work to do stay close." Zack turned to Twilight and the Princess

| As you look over towered the Princess and Twilight you see that both of them are moving towered you. Twilight looks nervous, but Celestia face is an emotionless mask.
Reaching you the Princess looks down on you and states. "My student has informed me that you have left the only known captive member of the group responsible for this devastation in the guard of a baby dragon so that you could bring the bares of the Elements to the site of a massacre conducted in the name of a group who have stated there clear intention to do harm too them. Is this correct?" Her face and voice hold no emotional inflection, but looking at her eyes feels like looking into the sun itself. "The Wonder Bolts are going to relive Spike of his guard duty, thou I suspect they will not find much there. You did openly carry the prisoner threw the streets, did you not?"
Twilight suddenly looks quite scared, realizing that her trying to leave Spike out of danger, my have just put him in even grater danger.

| The trip back is a blur.
Reaching the town again has taken you down to the dregs of your energy. Your body feels like it burning from the overexertion, but years in the serves have conditioned you well and you reach the liberty in good time.
The door is open, but dose not looked forced, still as you enter the tree building your hart sinks. Two of the armored Wonderbolts are here, you recognize Captain Spite Fire on sight and the other you quickly identify as Soarin. They are busy searching the home, but your eyes are drawn straight to the writing desk, where Shadow Bolt had been tied up. The bindings lay on the floor and a very small amount of blood is visible on the ground next to it. Not enough suggest serious injury, but amount you would expect from somepony getting bucked in the face, then hitting the ground.
As you take in the room Spite Fire see you and charges over. "Identify yourself solider!" She snaps. She gives you a scowl that makes you feel like your back in basic.
{So fun facts. 1. I have been incorrectly writing Wonderblots and probably Shadow Bolts too! Also when looking up Soarin's colors I found out that he has almost the same color set as I gave Bottle Rocket! FANTASTIC! *sigh* Oh well}

| "Forensics have not been threw hear yet, so we can't say for sure, but we believe that the dragon in question is most likely in the custody of our enemy." Spite Fires tone is brisk and dry. "Rapidfire and Fleetfoot are sweeping the town. If the cultist are still in the area, we WILL find them." She looks pointedly at the door as she says, "The best thing you can do to help now is let us do are job. You can come in once where done here and local law enforcement takes over."
You Suddenly find the other Wonderbolt at your side. "This way solider." He says, thou not unkindly. As he leads you to the door he adds, "Don't mind the captain, she just a bit driven on when on duty. Plus considering alto of use just lost our home to a group that's flying around wearing a mockery of are uniforms, so feelings are running a bit high right now." Soarin looks about twenty years older then the last time you saw him at an event.
As you reach the door he turns to you ans asks, "I don't know if this would mean anything to you. You said you where are a friend of the family so..." He trails off as he turns his head to retriever a small strip of dark blue ribbon from a concealed storage space in his armor.
You recognize it as being either the same or a copy of the ribbon that tied the scroll marked with Luna's seal!
"We found this near the blood. We think the victim was holding it at the time of the attack."

You are alone in the void.
Then you are not alone.
You are surrounded by the shadowy shapes of ponies. The all sit and stare in one direction and as you follow there gaze you see it too, a grate orb of silver light.
From that they there comes a voice. "We have suffered greatly this day." It says and you can feel a grate wave of sadness, live a physical force, flowing from the shadowy ponies. "Many of you have lost your home. We have lost friends and family. Each of you has lost brothers and sisters and I have lost so many of my children." That feeling of sadness intensifies.
Without warning the silver orb becomes strained with red and the voice grows in volume till you feel like it will rip you apart from the shear force of the noise, yet still every word is clear as crystal. "AND YET THE FALSE QUEEN AND HER FOLLOWERS STILL LIVE FREE! THEY UNDERMINE US AT EVERY TURN! WE MUST ACT QUICKLY, TO STOP HER ONCE AND FOR ALL!"
The feeling of sadness has been replaced with a tidal wave of fury!

You awaken in a crowded first aid tent. All around you are lightly injured ponies, clearly walking wounded from Cloudsdale who where able to make room for the more seriously injured, but still needed medical attention. A white earth pony with a light pink mane is sees your awake and trots briskly over to you. "Ah your awake!" She exclaims in delight. "You had us worried there for a little while! Your horn was practically hot to the touch and you where drenched in sweet! Why if I did not know any better I would have said that you where trying to overexert yourself by replacing proper rest with coffee or sugar." She gives you a probing look, as if waiting for you to confess to doing just that.
"Nurse Redheart?" An injured pegasus calls to the white mare.
"Oh excuse me, I need yo go and take care of the others, but your free to go when you are feeling up to it. Nothing wrong with you!" She gives you a warm, reassuring smile then moves to the bed of the other pony.

The town has calmed down considerably since you passed out. Many buildings have sighs offering temporary housing to refuges and several notice boards have been erected with the locations of refuge camps being set up on the land owned by several farming family's. Guards patrol the street, maintaining order and helping guild lost children to locations where they will be safe till family can find them.
On the less hart warming side of things flyers with images of known and suspected cultists, along with illustration of the groups known uniforms are being passed out and nailed to walls and trees.
The library is dark and silent, but a pair of unicorn guards stand at attention outside the front door.
There is no sign of the element bares.
As you ponder your next coarse of action you recall the ribbon you where given. You still have the original scroll, which seems to indicate that Spike must have revised a second letter... infect since he was holding the ribbon when he was probably attacked, there is a more then fair chance that he was had the letter when the attack came! But would the cultist have taken the letter or would they have left it in the tree? Soarin had not mentioned a letter when he gave you the ribbon, but could it just have been kicked under something and they had just missed it? Also if Spike had been taken by force then somepony must have seen them running off with the baby dragon if they where masked and if they where not, then just maybe somepony still saw them and you could put a face to some of the cultists!
{The last paragraph is not a "Chose one of these to continue!", but more of a "If your stuck, hear are some investigation options, but feel free to come up with your own if you have a good idea.}

| Zack stood stock still thinking about what to do next when he was spun around to face a mint green unicorn with a lyre for a mark "Lyra how have you been"
"hey Zack I thought that was you. I've been good... well except with all thats going on..." she trails so Zack cuts in and asks her if she saw Spike "Spike? oh you mean Twilight's little dragon...

| She thinks about i for a moment then says, "Well not for a few hours. You could ask Mis. Hooves, I guess. She was over at the library awhile ago and there where a couple of Ponies I did't recognize that stopped by there to pick something up around noon."
"Wait can you describe them?"
"Well there was an Orange Unicorn, he was kinda upper crust look'in with a fancy mane style and a nice suit. He was with a..." She rubs her lower jaw, face furrowed in concentration. "I think she was gray, but she was wherein a dress and had a big hat on, so I could not say anything else for sure." She shrugs. Anyway they went in to the library with this big bag and when they came out the unicorn asked where the librarian was, because they wanted to donate all these books, but Bonbon, she told him that Twilight was out, so they said they would just come back when she got back. I told the guards that hours ago when they where asking around, but whats all that got to do with Spike?"

| "That's quite alright." The brown stallion pushes himself to his hoofs. "Look you would not happen to have seen Mis. Hoofs around hear have you?" He asks as he brushes some dirt off his legs.
"Who?" Zack asks.
"Gray pegasus, bold mane." He states, then after a second adds, "Might go by the name Ditzy Doo?"
"Oh Ditzy! Ya I saw her... about 8 hours ago. She delivered a message from Cloudsdale, then I sent her home to recover. She was pretty devastated."
The earth pony shakes his head. "Well she is not there anymore. Dame... this is not good."
"I know what you mean. The with destruction of this level... I don't think anypony has ever even imagine something like this could happen..."
"Oh that?" He looks slightly taken a back. "Oh yes that's pretty bad, ill grant you, but I am more worried about her name. I thought I fixed that last time, but clearly somethings gone very wrong... excuse me." And with that he takes off without another word.
Suddenly there is a flash of cold from the amulet and your world is filled with the image of a building. You recognize it as Celestia's school for gifted unicorns! The image fades from your view, but the memoir of the building remains clear.
{Once aging. This is not a "you have to use this hint", but a "this is a rout you can take that will progress the story." It may not be the best possible rout, but it is a fairly direct one.
Also, if you keep bringing in popular background ponies I am going to resort to using there fannon persons and NO, just because I like the joke that Time Turn/Dr. Whooves is a time lord dose not mean that the Doctor has just become a major player in the story. I throw that in as a jokey bit because you brought the character into the story. It is NOT foreshadowing a Dalek invasion or The Doctor fixing everything! Keep calm and carry one}
