| When Brandon and Kat had neared the van, one of the back doors opened up and out stepped Cameron "Hi guys!" he waved at them "Do you know who this pony is?" he asked, he turned back into the van and gently lifted out the unconcious ginger unicorn. He carried her over to Brandon slowly and gently "She ran right into the side of the van and knocked herself out, you guys should take her and make sure she hasn't hurt herself to badly." Octavia, Applejack and Berry all walked together towards the exit and tried to use an awkward mix of keeping their heads low and nodding at the occasion gaurd or passer by.

| Kat lowered her gun with a sigh, pulling Camron into a quick hug. "Jesus man, you had us worried." She pulled back and cringed a little. "Sorry about leaving without you though. The Doctor had a way for us to get back quickly so..."

As soon as the trio had made it out Berry raced ahead, leading the others in the direction of the other base. "Come on! If you want your friend back before the boss kills us all for you saving me we have NO time to wast!"

| G sat at the Kitchen table thinking as Soothing Needles came back in. He turned to her pensively. "Quick question. Humans cannot perform that kind of illusion without mirrors or other tricks. So that woman becoming a mist must be some kind of magic from this world. Didn't Equestria have a princess who could turn into a mist?" G asked Soothing Needles.

| Cameron wrapped his arm around Kat's shoulder as best as he could while still holding the pony in one arm. "Don't worry yourself about me, I feel better then ever!" He joked "But I'll head out again soon, the old guy told me about some supply cache in town that's still untouched, but it could be a trap so I should go alone." He continued walking toward Brandon and lowered the pony into his arms. "I was just going to come let you guys know in case I go missing while looking for it."

| Brandon shifted the pony awkwardly in his arms. "Well, it's good to know you are ok." He said. "Just be careful out there." Brandon looked down at the strange pony. "Ok there is something weird about this pony." Brandon said.
The Doctor came closer to the group. "I think that's the lady who stole my Sonic Screwdriver." he said.
"Wait, she turned into a human? Can ponies do that?" Brandon asked.
"Shape shifting magic, although possible isn't a common talent among ponies. Changelings maybe, but this level of transformation spell would require a lot of study. Of course I'm not a unicorn, so I am not very experienced in that field."
"OK," Brandon said. "Anyway, Cameron, feel free to chill here for abit before you head out."

| "Hold on," She slid the rifle off her arm. "Camron, if your going back into town take this." She tossed the weapon across to him. "And I will be expecting that back, so don't get yourself killed." She shoot him a warm smile before turning back to the others. "Alright lets get her back home before she wakes up and starts siring up trouble.

Soothing Needles shrugged at G's question. "Look, logic dictates that the simplest solution is the most likely. If that woman looked like she turned into mist, its likely that she was a unicorn the whole time, just using illusions to trick you. After all, she stayed out of arms reach the whole time, likely because she did not want you to feel that their was nothing, but some light tricks where flesh and blood should be."
The doctor tapped a hoof on the table. "If I where a betting mare, I would place my bits on her being an illusionist or trickster by trade. Maybe a spy, but more likely just a gifted show mare coming up with new ways to use her special talent." She sighed. "Why she would want to do all of that is beyond me, but I would not start thinking that Princess Luna had returned to us before proving beyond a reasonable doubt that its not just a common con artist."

| G scratched his chin. "I didn't exactly mean it was Princess Luna just that the power wasn't out of the realm of pony powers." He flushed a little
"A trickster or illusionist by trade.... Maybe this messed up world has made her into a Conartist." G Suggested. Rarity by now had made her way back into the kitchen after leaving Sweetie Belle with her friends.
"An illusionist by trade?" She asked G. He nodded.
"We had a pesky show-mare about a year or so ago that gave Twilight a hard time. Trixie was her name, but showing off was her talent. Still should this Conartist return we should apprehend her."
"And prevent her from using magic as she seems to like to use it to make herself a mist." G added. Rarity nodded. He then excused himself and went to look for Twilight. She was reading in the living room.
"Hey Twilight how's everything with you?" G asked awkwardly.

| "Well then, let's take her back inside. We are going to have a few questions for her when she comes to." Brandon said.
The Doctor walked back into the house as he in inspected his sonic screwdriver. Thankfully, it didn't seem to be damaged. Derpy suddenly hugged him.
"Oh, thank Celestia, you're ok!" She said. "You were out there for a while. I was sort of worried."
"I'm fine." The Doctor said. "Just some minor inconvienices."
Brandon entered the house. "Look alive ,everybody, we're having some company tonight." He said laying the strange unconscious pony on a couch."Also, Cameron's temporarily back."

| "I am fine." Twilight said wearily, though she looked anything, but. Her mane was a mess and it was clear she had been crying recently, but before G could ask what the matter was the door burst open as Brandon and Kat carried the unconscious mare inside.
"Is she injured?" Soothing Needles asked, rushing to the mares side and checking her pulse. "What happened out their?" As Brandon laid the stranger on the couch Soothing Needle's fetched a damp cloth and laid it over her head. "How long has she been unconscious for? Was she stuck in the head?"
Twilight to Brandon and pulled him to one side. "You said Cameron is back? How did he get back so quickly?" She looked around. "And is Rainbow with him?"

He looked to the unconscious mare sighed and looked through his bag. "Also after her wounds have been tended to you should consider keeping a very close eye on her." G said to Soothing Needles. He then turned to Brandon.
"Cameron's back? That's a good surprise. Wait you said temporarily?" G asked Brandon echoing Twilight somewhat. He looked to the unconscious mare sighed and looked through his bag. | G raised his eyebrows at Brandon. "Seems really suspicious. Given how we were treated." He said. Then The Doctor's words hit him.
"I know, but I can't get the way she looked at me when she disappeared. This wasn't just about my sonic screwdriver. This has to be personal."
"Well I guess we found our mystery Con-Artist. We have to figure out a way to keep her from using her magic until we can have a nice long chat about Patient Rights and Safety." G said darkly.

| Twilight nodded slowly and moved to the mares side, still clearly worried about Rainbow. "I won't use the magic binding again. The effects of it can be... troubling at times and after what happened to Colgate." She looked over at the mare in question who shot her back a murderous glare. "I would rather avoid the chance, no mater how small."
Kat ran after Derpy and stopped her part way up the stairs. "Hey!" She tapped Derpy and moved to get in front of her. "Are you alright? You look... well not grate." She sat down, frowning as she patted the step next to her. "Need someone to talk to?"

| Derpy looked at Kat and shook her head. "I don't know. It's just The Doctor has been actaing weird ever since I found him again. He's been really intense and on edge. He's normally like that. I don't know if this is a weird alien thing or if I came on too strong when just told him I loved him out of the blue." Derpy said. "I just hope that he starts acting less grim and more like himself soon."

| G waited for the commotion around the new mare to die down. As soon as Soothing Needles was done attending to her. He spoke. "Why don't we give her some space. I'm still resting my leg I'll keep an eye on her." He said. Twilight stayed at the Mare's side. G spoke to her. "Listen I'm not an expert but I think something is bothering you. Do you need to talk?" He asked looking genuinely concerned.

| Kat nodded slowly. "Ya, that might have startled the guy a little. Its a pretty big thing to spring on someone, especially when they are someone you have been close to for awhile." She patted Derpy on the shoulder. "He might just need a minute to himself to think." She frowned. "Or maybe it was something that happened at that lab... That 'Master' guy really seemed to hate your Doctor and I can't imagine their time together was pleasant." She smiled once more. "But don't worry! He is safely back with friends and even if it takes time for him to get back to himself, he will. Don't you worry."

Twilight shock her head. "No." She did not match G's eyes. "In that I don't think we have anything to talk about." Her voice quivered slightly. "I heard what happened at the lab from the others. Rainbow's... the way she left and the way Rarity see's it... and all of that." She shock her head slightly as tears began to run down to her chin. "Its tearing us apart. Apple Jack is usurious at you, Rarity and Colgate because she thinks the way you acted drove Dash away from maybe coming back and talking to us. Fluttershy left and I don't know where she is and Pinkie has been missing since we left the cabin."
Twilight rubbed her eyes and took a deep breath, then in a much calmer voice said, "So no. I don't think talking to you about what's bothering me is going to help." She finally looked at G with an unreadable expression. "Just tell me that if Rainbow Dash does come back, you will stay away from her till her FRIENDS have had a chance to talk to her first." She looked over at Colgate. "And in the mean time, try and do something with... her. She is going to give the fillies nightmares." She shivered. "As well as the rest of us. I don't know what can be done for her, but at the very least, try and sow up and cover up the worst of the damage so she looks less like the things trying to eat everypony."
