| "And if we barricaded both the first floor and barn, we could have a fairly safe place to come back to, if we make it back." Colgate agreed. "D might have been crazy, but setting up a permanent safe house and settlement might not be a bad idea. Once we have access to the cure, we can even start bringing in more ponies and first rebuild the farm as a safe haven, with good croup land and the later the town, since its small enough to clear and wall off with a large enough population."

Rarity gulped. "Did you have any previous incidents of needing to recover an escaped pony?" She asked Rocket almost afraid of the answer.

| "This Idea keeps on getting better." Brandon smirked. "Alright let's get the girls and head up to the house." Brandon and Doctor G headed out of the barn. "Hey, Kat," Brandon Called . "Since we are staying here for a while, G and I are going to transfer our base of operations into the house. If you'd like to help us out, feel free to come."

| Dr. G smiled and saw Soothing Needles. "Ummm well Brandon and I are going to transfer our base to the house since we are here for a while. Maybe even start planning for a rebuilding when this is over. If you'd like to help you are more than welcome to come." G said smiling.

| "No." Rocket said quickly. "Colgate was the first proper escapee we had, though it was in our contract that we might need to bring in missing ponies." He sighed. "It WAS a live capture order on Colgate, until your friend showed up. We didn't have the ability to transfer two ponies all that way, so Colgate just got very unlucky. Otherwise, she was going to be left alive. Boss didn't like letting go of valuable assets if he could avoid it."
At that moment the door opened and G, Brandon and a few others marched though. At Brandon's request, Kat hobbled after the group, seemingly pleased with the chance to get back to work. Soothing Needles on the other hand looked dubious. "Are you sure a farm house that has been broken into once before and which is located next to a sizable town is a safe place to set up a permanent camp?"

| Octavia stamped her hoof "I'm going to travel to Manehatten!" she looked at Sweetie Belle again "Do you know anypony who knows the best way to travel from Ponyville to Manehatten?" She asked
"Apple Blooms sister went there when she was a filly" Sweetie blurted
Octavia scratched her chin, "Thankyou Sweetie, I'll go see if she would help me get there"

"I'm granting myself title of General Commander Lieutenant" Cameron joked "So I guess I'll take stock of our weapons if no one minds me taking them for awhile" Cameron said to Kat, Brandon and G at the barn door

Rainbow decided to go for a quick fly around their new camp to see if she could spot anything that could be useful or any possible threats

| "Whatever you say,Cam." Brandon said. "I think I lost my gun somewhere in Dodge so I don't really have any actual weapons. I've got a hammer, an adjustable wrench, a screwdriver, and my pocket knife. I'll need to keep the hammer to help make repairs and barricade the house, but you can hold on to the rest if you need to take them. But I'll want them back." Brandon teased.

| Kat shrugged, pulling her pistol from is makeshift holster and passing it over. "Just don't hurt yourself Commander." She winked, then moved on to begin working.

Apple Jack's eyes slowly focused on Octavia and Sweetie Belle. "What do yall want with me?" She demanded. "Can't you see I'm in morning?"
Apple Bloom looked from her sister to Octavia. "What do you need?"
"We want to go to Manhattan to find Octavia's sister!" Sweetie Belle cheered.
"There not sisters." Scotaloo rebutted, walking over to see what was happening. "Rainbow Dash said there special some ponies."
"That ain't true!" Apple Bloom snapped, but it was to late, Sweetie Belle's eyes had grown large and she was staring at Octavia in awe.
"Are we going to risk everything to save to pony you love?" Sweeite blushed and started to dance a little. "Oh! Oh! Why didn't you tell me? That is SOOO romantic!"
Scotaloo wrenched as Apple Jack shot Octavia a baleful look. "If your going to Manehatten to find kin, I have some up that way as well. So I'll lead you there, but don't get your hopes up of a happy reunion."

| G sighed when he turned to Soothing Needles "Can't you be positive for once? But we don't have much else to rebuild on now." He then turned to Cameron "Alright commander here are my weapons he said handing over his gun. I'll keep this pick ax from Prometheus just in case." He then went to help Brandon.

| Brandon looked about the place. "Hmm... there are a few broken windows,so we'll have to board those up. Then there's the upstairs. We'll have to check that out and clear out any bodies if there are any. Nothing too major to do construction wise. After that all we have to do is move our stuff in and see if we have enough supplies to last two weeks."

| G looked around. "I guess we should check out the top floor. Would you please help Kat down here assessing what needs to be reinforced or cleaned up while Brandon and I go upstairs." He said to Soothing Needles. He turned to Kat. "I know you're strong and don't like being told what to do but do be careful you are still recovering and despite it all you are a solid member of this team. He paused looking at Brandon. Then saluted to Kat and the Doctor. "If you need us let us know we're right upstairs." He turned back to Brandon. "Alright let's see what we have!" He said as they climbed up the stairs. As they climbed G had a curious thought. "I meant to ask you Brandon how was your "trip" into town?" G asked in a low tone a mischievous grin on his lips.
